Shark in the pool. Jack opened up the swimming pool to swim as he opened it, he found a shark. “Where the shark come from”? No one knows. Jack called his friend John who was a fisherman, to ask him to bring his rod to catch the shark. When catch the shark, Jack and his parents had shark for tea, which was nice. The gold fish tale. Martian Davis was reading a book about wild life in his Manchester flat. Suddenly there was a knock on the door as Martian had an unexpected visitor, it was his old school friend Mark Robinson. It was two pm. Martian offered Mark a coffee. While Martin was in the kitchen making coffee, Mark was starling at Freddie the gold fish in the bowl. He hadn’t moved from when Martian walked into the kitchen to when Martian bought Mark his coffee. Freddie was still in the same place. “Martian is Freddie okay, he has not moved and been the same place since you started making the coffee”? “Okay Mark, not sure”. “Lets give it ten minutes and see what happens”. “Okay, Martian”. Both guys waited ten minutes but there was no movement. Martian sobbed. “I think I need to go to the pet shop and buy myself a new gold fish”. “Okay, Martian”. Off they drove into town, to soft paws pet shop Manchester. Martian bought female gold fish and called her Litzy. The driving test. It was March 1962, Michael Burns walked into his London flat as happily as can be because he pasted his driving test. Suddenly, he had an unexpected visitor Jock Miles an old work man, which was a huge surprise as he hadn’t seen him in twenty years. “What great timing Jock, you have turned up on the day I have pasted my driving test, we have so much to catch up on since we last saw one another twenty years ago”. “ What about a few beers then from the condor shop, your not driving tonight are you”? “ No way, I can’t afford a car just yet”. “ Okay, let’s go for it and drink just here, it’s cheaper, congratulations mate, we’ll done”! The two brothers It was was Friday 14th July 2023, which should have been Friday 13th. At South Salem New York, there was a big storm out in the country side. There were two little brothers Robert and Jack. Robert had short blond and Jack had short brown hair. Robert wore a green and blue army t shirt and Jack wore a red t shirt. Robert was nine and Jack was seven. Through the very strong storm the internet went down, which made the boys very anxious because it made it hard to talk to their friends and play their games. Jack got very anxious about the internet having gone off, Robert had been on his laptop and Jack had been on his iPad. At that point, internet wasn’t a bad as time went on so their Nana Maggie Liz gave Jack some her internet. Robert let Nana Maggie Liz help him make French toast. Now when Nana Maggie Liz and Aunty May we’re children, there was no access to internet but there were board games like snakes and ladders, furstraghtion, lido and more. Before there were mobile phones, some people had landlines but most could not afford them so they had to use call boxes that they put money in to communicate with people, which was long before social media, emails and more. It would be hard for children, young people etc to understand today what the world was like generations before they were born, where there were letters and even telegraphs even years before Nana Maggie Liz and Aunty May were born.
