Trying to understand mental illness

Mental health is no different from physical health in many ways, yes we need to look after it but when facing mental illness it is not easy but it's not impossible either. Those in good health can think, behave, act, interact, see and hear to ready what is around them in the best way they can, etc. For those who face mental illness, it is not that easy but I am not saying it is easy for those with healthy minds either.

Compared to physical health, mental health, and mental illness there is a difference in control, meaning how we look after ourselves, etc. Mental illnesses do not make people negative as people but what they experience in their lives can be, the way they feel, etc. Going by own childhood, which I won't talk about and I wasn't alone, there are more situations you can face that can be your mind for years or even forever. I understand most people chose not to for whatever reason, which some people could be telling people do know, don't know or both, fear of others would tell other people, etc. All the same, if the voice is not said and heard there are risks of the problem increasing when coping alone but we can only advise someone to speak not force them to.

Research from my internet says mental health affects one in four people but I guess within the last 18 months to two years it would be twice the size due to the Covid 19 lockdown but just high before then. I admit as far as numbers are concerned the UK and worldwide I wouldn't like to guess as I must be more wrong than I expect it to be. Either way, I would guess the cost is huge due to the support people need who face mental illness. However' the help is needed but the concern is that so could well be coping alone either or and not being aware of the help, most could be afraid or and many other reasons.
