Easy read Guidelines. Make it clear!
· Ask people first how
they would like their information, you will mostly find different people like
their information in different ways.
· Most people will understand that services are
limited to funding these days so the tools they may have to do the job make
only the information so accessible.
· Most
people understand that it’s not always possible to find short words for long
words but please look in the thesaurus because you may be able find short
words for long words.
- Where to
put the words on the page. Keep everything about a subject on the same
page.
- If you have to use more than 1 page for a
subject, start each new page with more about then whatever the subject is.
