It is good to be back at the University of Wolverhampton Telford, after so long off because of Covid 19.

I used that our session at the university is very short, hopefully, I will be able to create and do a PowerPoint session for you in the future.

I am creating a report for you to see on my website because we all need to know that disability and mental health awareness is important anyway. Yes’ everyone struggled in lockdown in all different ways but there are concerns that the lockdown may have had a huge increase of effect on vulnerable people, such as those with disabilities, mental health, a However,’ when I was told back in March 2020, due to Covid 19 things were having to stop not just at the University most if not all places, the same as many of us felt, it was a shock to the system.

However,’ now the complete opposite now, even those I enjoy what I do but Lockdown had caused me of lack self-confidence, motivation, self – esteem, etc as much as I am willing to get started again.

I cannot speak for others similar if not the same as me, but I guess many have faced similar if not the same. Where in the early stages of lockdown I was not going out the door other than the condor shop, which was costly. Although there were reasons like even the government was learning about Covid with the rules changing so quickly I was afraid of either meaning to going against things I could and couldn’t do.

My Auntie’s friend normally comes to do a bit of cleaning etc and helps me with things I cannot do myself at home. She is not a support worker or social worker etc, but she cleans for other people, for about the first month of lockdown she was not able to work.

My Mum lives in America even though but she was born and lived in Wolverhampton in past. Normally I spend a week or two in America and Mum may come to the Uk may one or twice a year for a week or two, 2020 and 2021, she could get over here or I could not get over there, till I came to her near enough Christmas 2021.

Just to say I would be grateful if some of you if not just one of you would send me to some feedback on this report if you have learned anything, how does my handout on my website help your career,  thank you? sarajgorman@gmail.com  https://sararevealed.blogspot.com/
