Types of mental illness and DISABILITY’S part 2

At the start of this study, we going to be looking at Depression, the reason this is, sorry to sound negative, I would be lying if I was saying otherwise, it is not just a silent struggle in life but a risk of being a silent killer not everyone, but most people do compare to the amount who used to. Not everyone talks about it, and we can’t accept that from everyone but can’t help but think, many are struggling, and we don’t know they are. It is an important awareness because it is a huge concern but with the right help, treatment, and support it is possible for people to live equally as possible to others, only not everyone opens up for many reasons, finding it hard to believe there is help, not wanting to put on others and many other reasons. We cannot force people to open up, but we can raise as much awareness as possible so as many know as possible, where even then we don’t know how people do know.

Depression is a low mood where you can feel this way for any length of time. However,’ there is help, treatment, and support but not everyone knows, or support as there still is even today, those of us used to just getting on with life, which shouldn’t have been the case.  Depression can be life risking thinking feelinghttps://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/suicidal-feelings/, self-harm, etc, which can be hard for others to believe, and many other reasons.

Most comment types of depression

Types of depression. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD), which can happen during the winter months but in many cases go on longer, Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia), Prenatal depression, Postnatal depression (PND) –

Persistent depressive disorder is a type of Depression that comes and goes over a period of years, which is a long time compared to other types of Depression, but it can vary from person to person, and it can be an intensity that can change over time. But typically, symptoms don't disappear for more than two months at a time. In addition, major depression episodes may occur before or during persistent depressive disorder — this is sometimes called double depression.

A lack of interest in what you are normally interested in, lack of concentration even in what you normally enjoy, which can even take a long time for you to feel yourself again, sadness, emptiness, lack of energy, low self–stream, avoiding people not in a nasty way but in a sense, you are not feeling yourself, feeling guilty no matter what, under-eating or overeating, sleeping problems. This is not a type of a Depression changes for eg, sleeping very less than sleeping a lot, it stays the same until you get better, even then you don’t know how long or short you better for and it can appear back unexcepted.

Next, I am going to be talking about hearing voices. Have I been going crazy all my life or does anyone else face this.

Does anyone find that their minds never stop talking to them? Call me crazy, mad, disbelieve me, but truly, my mind has been talking to me all my life to a point, when I am alone, I answer myself but when I am not, I don’t, it has become more than just thinking. Maybe this is why I started writing after I had cancer and yet when I think about writing something, I can’t think of anything to write, how weird.

This may be due to overthinking, which is Anxiety, mostly you are thinking about what others are thinking about whatever situation, they are in or not. It can be a reaction, but it can be an overreaction, where the mind is thinking and overthinking when not knowing someone’s reaction but it seems so real when being in the moment, where we might not always be right. Depending on what is there may be all sorts of reasons why we may fear to say what we are thinking, it is not always fear of the truth, and it is not always fear of hearing what we don’t want but there are also cases that we are. No one should judge that one way or the other. How I Silence the Anxious Voice in My Head | HealthyPlace

Symptoms of PTSD - Mind PTSD Post-traumatic stress disorder is a fear of what has happened and what could happen.

For example, a negative experience from childhood is something that can be misunderstood, or disbelieved for many reasons for example someone struggling to express what happened, and yet it is always seen and or heard in the person’s mind, where it is not forgotten about if it is, it is there for a long time. In the case of what could happen there are many examples; nervousness about exams, driving lessons, driving tests,  fear of someone’s thoughts about what you say,  someone’s reaction to what you say,  etc what you may talk about. This is where you could think about ever it is, worries, panic, fear, etc until it is said, what is concerning something may take a long time or never a person may pick up the courage to tell someone what is bothering them, but somethings are select to them, what is concerning are we keeping back what is important to say but hard to say for whatever reason?

The voices are what we are hearing, questions in one’s mind for eg, what if I do say anything? What if I don’t? Next, we are going to be looking at stress, which a lot of us face. Sorry to say it is going to always seem as the same because this is the truth but what is different over time, we have faced different sorts of stress in different type of ways. What always has stayed the same and always will is that stress is the biggest killer of all,  and we need to look after ourselves and each other. However,’ even the good things can be overpowering for us but doesn’t mean all is wrong. For eg, studying and exams are a joy to achieve what we want to achieve but at the same time stressful as anything negative because we are trying so hard to pass. Sometimes anxiety can add on. For eg, I am not going to do this. I cannot do this anymore. I won’t pass this exam. Some of us, work on yes, I can, I have done so far, I am going to do this exam. I am going to pass this exam. These is just fears we may face.
