Feedback and handout on User a friendly learning to teach for 2nd year student learning disability nurses.

Hi everyone well done for Monday 7th March 2016. There are plenty of references these days like the internet as well as the library.  Although not everyone has access to go online but I will advice you to ask in the library references there are other than books. This handout isn't only here to use for for your assignment but during and when you leave university.

You all did very well teaching one another skills like hobbies, interested and etc can you manage the learning and support to teach people with disabilities, health problems and conditions, which can slow a person down or and make them learn in different way to other people. Bare in mind for example with Anxiety can get stressed and furstraighted easily because they can't always learn at the same speed as other people or and even different to other people. Anxiety can be linked to other disabilities, health problems and conditions. Bare in mind you will be supporting, teaching, empowering and or caring for with different support and learning needs.

Not everyone will have needs someone of 24.7 so it's important for people to get the support when they need it and let them manage what they can manage, which is where the balance comes in. For that, I would advice you to google PCP Person Centered Planning.

Due to the fact that sadly there's a lot of negative things going on with the benefit system just so the government  save money for them selves. As odd as it sound these benefit cuts and changes can be a big risk to the health of your patients with disabilities, health problems and conditions. I know it's a pain but to prepare yourselves what you could face in your career but let's hope you will never have to,  my advice is keep up to date what is going on with the benefit system.

This handout is to support your build up of being a Learning Disability Nurse to empower, care, treat and support these people to live equal lives to other people as possible.

The purpose of my teaching is to support and teach you to assess people needs so they get the right learning, support, independence and etc as possible.

Learn about what make people with disabilities, health problems and condition slower or and different to other people? Study long term conditions.

How can you teach and support these people to run their homes, take care of their person, house work shopping, manage money, education, working or and etc?

How can you make learning easy for these people?

What disabilities and health problems cause memory problems?

Google disabilities, health problems and conditions see what links come up and see what you can learn.
