How do you make assessments in easy read?


Can the person make themselves a hot drink without support? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person pour or even make a cold drink? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person warm up a hot snack? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person make a cold snack? Yes or no. Does the person need support?

Can the person cook a big hot meal? Yes or no. Does the person need support?

Can the person put a ready made meal in the microwave? Yes or no. Do they need support?
Can the person wash up? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person dry up? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person use a washing machine? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person dry their clothes? Yes or no. Does the person need support?

Can the person iron their clothes? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person hover? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
Can the person dust? Yes or no. Does the person need support?
 Can the person shop? Yes or no. Does the person need support?


Transport information. Some people have no sense of direction mainly those people with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy Anxiety and Depression. A map that stands out with different colours would be rather useful for most people whereas others it could be 123, ABC or and bullet points for example.

·       Straight on.
Some people may want that format in colours for example.
