Mental awareness week 10th may till the 16th May 2021

Let's move on but all the same, we are trying to make a difference. Sorry to go on about this and the reason why I do I understand through facing Mental ill-health myself that Mental - ill-health is on the whole very serious but not really understood or believed because it's mostly very hidden, which I can fully understand it can be very hard to talk about, which we cannot force people to talk or not to talk, but all the same, there are huge concerns like I have said in most posts. We are here if they want us.

As I said in a fair few posts ago, with the Covid the last over 13 months, the amount of people struggling with their Mental Health is huge. Professionals have their workload, this doesn't necessarily mean support stop because peoples' lives are important but it's also important to try and help each other the best we can, mainly now lockdown is easing a bit and people are starting to get to see each other a bit. Okay, we may not be able to as helpful as the professionals but a friend in need is a friend indeed and even basic help is something. Even just offering if you have concerned someone is struggling but not making them talk if they don't want to.

As far as behaviors are concerned to balance, yes people are responsible for their own actions, etc but in certain people and behaviors they may or may not be aware of themselves, it raises concerns. However' whether or whether not someone is aware they may be facing mental - ill-health one way another, if they not aware and made aware it could be a hard one for them to face, admit and accept. Reason for this, which can be partly mental - ill where the people can be sensitive mainly for those who have been living with their behavers all their lives and not realizing why which can be hard to say for example yes I may well face Depression. No matter what is, some people can face up to what they face and others cannot or and it can take them years to do so, etc.  Many of us may fear to say certain things to etc, in case we are and in case we upset them. Thinking to say things etc is not an easy one so if your unsure leave it to someone that knows, okay that may or may not happen but it is concerning but better than jumping the gun at something we may not know and risking upsetting that person without meaning to.

Mental disorders we should know by now.

Anxiety disorder where people face panic, stress, worry, fear, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and phobias, too much, overthink, overreact, Mind over matter, something seems worse than what it is, mountain out of a mole, something seems very big to deal with when it's probably very small.

Depression bipolar and mood disorders, struggling to feel positive in ourselves, etc.

Eating disorders eating too much, overeating or too little, even not wanting to eat.

  • Personality disorders struggling to get along with people.
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia.
